Surgery Preparation Guides
Each guide covers your Pre-Anesthesia Testing (PAT) appointment, medication instructions, fasting, what to expect during surgery, and recovery. If you have questions about your specific instructions, contact our office or the pre-op RN.
Nephrectomy & Partial Nephrectomy
Robotic or laparoscopic kidney removal — partial or complete. Includes Dr. White’s bowel prep instructions.
Cystectomy with Ileal Conduit
Bladder removal with urinary diversion. 5–10 day hospital stay. Includes stoma care guidance and Pouch Place contact.
Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy (PCNL)
Minimally invasive surgery for large or complex kidney stones through a small incision in the back.
Ureteroscopy with Laser Lithotripsy
Scope-based kidney stone fragmentation using holmium laser. May include ureteral stent placement.
Sacral Nerve Stimulator (Axonics Implant)
Permanent implantation of the Axonics sacral neuromodulation device for overactive bladder and urinary incontinence.
