About Dr. Angelle
Avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing, and hiking the Smoky Mountains.
Dr. Angelle was born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana. He attended college at the University of Louisiana where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He graduated medical school with high honors from Louisiana State University.
After medical school, he completed his general surgery and urologic surgery training at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. Dr. Angelle worked in private practice for two years in Gainesville, Georgia, where he and his wife welcomed their first child, Emilia. They missed Knoxville and the family-like atmosphere at the University of Tennessee, and Dr. Angelle rejoined as faculty at UT in 2020.

Robotic & Laparoscopic Cancer Surgery
Da Vinci robotic-assisted surgery for prostate, kidney, and bladder cancer. Radical prostatectomy, partial and radical nephrectomy, and radical cystectomy with urinary diversion. Minimally invasive technique with reduced recovery time and blood loss.
Kidney Stone Management
Minimally invasive kidney stone treatment including ureteroscopy with laser lithotripsy and mini-PCNL for complex or high-burden stone disease. Dr. Angelle manages both straightforward and complicated stone cases across all clinic locations.
Ureteral Stricture & BPH
Robotic and laparoscopic approaches for ureteral stricture disease and benign prostatic hyperplasia. Pyeloplasty for ureteropelvic junction obstruction and procedural management of advanced BPH including robotic simple prostatectomy.
Incontinence & Voiding Dysfunction
Sacral nerve stimulation (Axonics), Botox bladder injections, and Bulkamid injections for female stress urinary incontinence. Dr. Angelle manages both female and male voiding dysfunction with a full range of procedural options.
